Beautiful painting and the perfect
write to go with it. I have to admit
the line “ Your youth running fever”
says a lot in 4 words.

I have to admit
I wrote that poem and saved it.
Hours later when I edited it I said to myself, damn did I write that?

The forest has many pleasures of this being one.
I lived near a state park growing up.  This poem derives out of that time and the many trees bearing Initials.  Funny how so many years later a poem becomes that memory.
