A Matter of Perspective
Author's Note
Thank you to all of you who have checked in with me over the last several months. Other than the occasional bout of depression, I'm doing just fine... I really appreciate you guys - sorry I haven't been much of a friend.
Though I'm not around here much anymore, this community, will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm still writing poetry, just not posting much here ❤️
Love, NewB

{Ohhh my, what a treat🦋}
Dear, J
I'm beyond thrilled and sincerely delighted to see you today! I have thought of you often and to say I have missed you and your gorgeous poetry, is putting it mildly. I do pop in now and again where I know you're currently posting work, but sadly, most of my social media interactions have fallen to the wayside. It's wonderful to hear that you're continuing your very talented poetic journey and that you, yourself are doing so well. I'm all smiles and big grins, reading that update.
This visual poem is another beautiful expression that is so inspiring, honest, poignant and refreshingly open. It's your hallmark poetic style; so fantastically penetrative and penned to a T.
My day was made so much brighter by having you in it.
I hope to stay in touch,
Much love, well wishes and good fortune, my dear poet - 💙

Hey NB
I get the same feeling when I see you've posted in my updates:)
Love reading your shtuff:) Sending you a boatload of wonderful karma
and sunshine from Texas amigo:)
Love this line -
Am I eccentric or insane?
Maybe we need to find a way for them to co-exist with a
little of both:)
My older son battled depression for a while. Still struggles occasionally
but went to therapy and learned tools to help with panic attacks and depression.
Panic attacks - counting helps
Depression - he bought a guitar and plays
There is hope:)

Dear J,
Every line a gem! I really adored the introspection of both sides of a coin. I can’t help wondering why it can’t be both things? Passions and eccentricity. Insanity and obsession. Now it’s a party. I was thrilled to see this post. Your writing chops are as wonderful as always. I really enjoyed this poem for it got me to thinking about how to appreciate how many ways we can look at things. H🌷
