Nice.  I love the ending lines. But the entire thing is obviously well done.

“Madness is never silent” no it is not. I had a hard time moving past this line and its brilliance of truth. After I did push on I truly appreciated the spark of hope in acknowledging one’s own darkness with the flecks and slivers of light dotting said darkness and gratitude for those brief moments of relief . I really admire this piece and it’s honesty. H🌷

I love the rhythm and rhyme here.  The whole thing is kind of Happysad.  As you mentioned in a previous comment, I'll take the dark if it also gives me the light.  I even think the dark helps us to see things that others miss.  Thank you for your competition entry.  I've just launched Bonkers #2 in case you're interested!
