Perennials
While Contemplating the ins and outs of the perfect romance
i said, "yes" to this butterfly requesting a dance
She was tired of dancing alone between the drops of a recent shower
and I was tired of being and standing alone like a wallflower
We floated over to the edge of the garden dancing among the Roses
Waltzing among the Marigolds spinning in circles and rubbing noses
As we two stepped amongst Irises, making our way to the Begonias
There were Sunflowers ready to line dance as we separated from the Petunias
She whispered something into my ear at the Ivy that climbed up the bed post
I saw a Magnolia in full bloom in her eyes, giving me hope
With a smell of Jasmine, I'm promised that I will see her Lotus in full bloom
Let's lay upon a bed of Clovers and commence to make room
As the heated breeze began to blow, Tulips began to touch
Orchids and Chrysanthemums reminds us that it could never be to much
Laceleaf and Sugarbushes remind me of my mission
Kush and Snowdog creating the perfect fusion, both being tired of fission
I long to taste her beyond the ovaries and receptacle, I wanted to taste her stem
As my tongue is greeted by her stigma, the petals enclose around it, creating a hem
I lap at the sweet nectar as the petals squeeze tighter and tighter
In this there is no separation without unity, wrong could never feel righter
The anther would leave the filament, but the stamen must remain
Stigma, style, ovary, and ovule, equals the pistin, reproduction's beginning and end
We battled nature until we drooped like Foxglove
Spores released with finality until next time my love
As our fast love and passionate love making returns us to our root
I now have something to dream about as our seasons reboot
Every hour of every day, I'll lay in my bed with dreams of this very day
Store in my mind, stuck on replay, until nature allows us again to come play
