Often times when I get into a poem, I think of songs. In this case it is The Cranberries' "Dreams". I did notice that word "linger".

I'm so glad that my piece evoked such a lovely song  in your mind... I love that song 😊

Evokes thought of memory of a lover carrying on in the afterlife.

'You are closer to my heart than my darkest secrets' - it would be most honouring to hear from a lover.

I believe in many afterlife.... And it's do deeply romantic to think of pursuing your lover or having their memories in many lifetimes....
