They no longer care
I am an old man.
I was in the métro, missed a step,
Fell down.
There were six or seven young persons
Waiting for the train.
They did not even bother to come help me get up.
Then, in the train, not a single seat available.
Mostly young people, their ears plugged
And their eyes on their tiny screens.
In another world.
Totally.
Not a care in the world.
No manners.
