Where Was I Before? Notes between mother and daughter (9)

Dear Mommy
Where was I before I was in your tummy?

Dear Daughter
You didn’t exist except in my dreams. When your father’s sperm met my egg, they danced a joyous dance and began a process that led to your life. We never dreamed that little baby would grow into such a beautiful young woman.

Now as I watch the pleasures you draw from life and give to others, I feel blessed beyond measure. You have become a beautiful part of the world. That’s part of the reason I love you so much.
