When You Know a Thing
It's not a vulnerability
To haphazardly
Leap into a fire;
Rather,
It's a foolishness
To merely jump
And see the height
Ascended to
Not higher.
But,
When you know
A thing,
And toss yourself
Into the sense
Of learning,
This is when
Our circumstance
Anneals us
In its burning.

Nicely written, unusual rhyming scheme, subtle, I totally missed it at first glance.
