Life Lessons from Carlie

Author's Note
This is an ode and tribute to my friend, Nicole, Carlie's mom. She, who was made into a terrific friend of mine because her dogs decided that they loved me like their very own; is a tough, gracious and extremely amazing human being. There aren't enough adjectives to describe what she means to me and hopefully the same applies in return. These are her words that she shared with me. I created this visual poem for her out of them. She absolutely nailed my bff Carlie, to a T. I felt compelled to share it, hopefully it's legible enough to read....

I agree and so does Buster, at least that's what he told me, but he's a joker so I'm not sure.
It's lovely piece, Carlie ws pretty to come up with it, Buster is jealous though :)

😊, yea Buster is something else,, all I have to do is look at him a certain way and he knows we're going walking,,, there's a whole list of words that I can't mention cause he knows them..
I've had dogs in the past, nearly always had dogs, some were clever enough, but not one of them was as smart as Buster is. It's really amazing.
I could write a book about him, so much to say, so much he gives every day. He truly is a miracle.

Hey you, this is great! It's like a checklist and I found myself going "yup, yup, yup"!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with me, W. I appreciate you reading these two posts about my doggo bff's. To have their era come to an end this year, still leaves a hole. I was so very lucky to have them in my life all these previous years.... it's so strange to me that that is over.... I count myself bettered for it and once healed, I plan to donate more of my time to volunteering, to fill that vacuum their loss has left.
