Image for the poem Pine(ing)

Earthy, clean
spiced of fresh bark
minty air
and tender wafts of sandalwood
Swaying branches
dusted white,
how i love the enchanting dance
of aromatic spiked cones
glistening in random swells
Deep scented musky fir
woodsy and alluring
to feel, that sticky sap
so full of ambered ambrosia
senses fire off potent memories
bouquets of nostalgia
that convene in every needle
Highlighting clearly
specific plumes of possibity
and swirling magic
where hope and inspiration
collide in juniper
with just a tinge of eucalyptus
Gloriously lost
drowning in rustic smells of reminisce
O' hearty-delicate beauty
were winter's lush greenery
engulfs and enfolds
Blanketing my entire being
from thought
to each gentle action
savory hints of wonder,
reflection and verdant dreams
sweetly perfume
A lifelong cherished, love
kissed with care, are my scented wishes
that call forth divine fantasy
sense memory at it's finest
a whimsically hope
abundantly filled
of nothing but
pure pine essence
is a fragrant dream come true.

Dreams and musings about the love of all things that smell of REAL pine. It's an epic kind of love, bordering on addiction... lol...
