That is so true, it can be so difficult to find a quiet place sometimes - certainly not from your own thoughts. Still we all need that safe and quiet place of reflection. This one is multi-faceted. Although there is an angle of sadness, there is also the peace, quiet, and passion to be found in the night. :) 🌃💖

I do love the description of haunting, that always feels so peaceful to me; like a graveyard. :p And I love black and white photography (hey I did a piece on that a while back) and this picture I felt captured the quiet reflection while also suggestive of other night activities where I find peace as well. This is so haunting for me.
The silence that spreads.  Invisible  footsteps.
Also, the naked vulnerability this picture depicts is so striking. The mirror held my attention.
She's alone and hugging herself but - maybe - also - glancing at her reflection. It makes me wonder
what she's thinking about in that moment. I know this is about peace but I'm also getting a lot of
reflection upon herself as well. This is a great piece Kristina. I love it!!
Also love the black and white. Gives it a more authentic, gritty feel.

Don't forget the brooding shadows. ;) But I do love haunting so it just came out that way but hopefully I am haunting you in the best way. ;) You have detailed what I was trying to capture with the picture and this piece so well. It is interesting that you mentioned reflection because I actually meant to include the theme SelfReflection, this is definitely about reflection as you picked up on including the picture with glancing at the mirror. I do love black and white especially with this type of expression. I am so happy you loved it and thought it was great piece. That means so much to me. 🌃💖

I loved the underlying safety of lusty loneliness for me in this poem. Not alone, but being alone.  There is a comfort in my head that I don’t have to carry the burden of responsibility of being a couple.  This write is a marvelous introspection of being by yourself in your own space and I really like it! Hey Honoria, it's so great to hear from you. :) I always love how in tune you are and how you are always able to express things so well. I find it so important to have my own space. To be alone with myself free of any other demands. There is so much burden of responsibility that it can be very hard sometimes to find that time but it is vital, at least for me, otherwise I would go even more crazy. :) 🌃💖

The safe quiet nurturing nest that with its peace and isolation allows your mind to wander to other considerations: carnal need, self-reflection, and/or fore-thought.  All which you can explore in your simple abode during the peaceful night. Although the peace may not be so quiet.  : )

Perfectly said DaVinci. I love the peace and isolation where my mind can wander sometimes, although it definitely torments me too and I require carnal need to pull me away from those thoughts. But I love exploring... And yes, the 'peace' does get quite loud. lol 🌃💖
