TEAM BLUE

I am a broken poet, I love to read the things everybody writes, sometimes the comments are toxic and I feel that isn't right

Everyone has different styles, subjects that work for them, if you've nothing nice to say, simply put down your pen

Poetry is a release therapy in a moving written form, so be kind to the writers, even if they're stuff ain't quite the norm

Sorry I've gone off on a tangent, there's something I'd like to say, that's thank you to BLUEVELVETE in every single way

Thank you for the encouragement when I felt at a loss, for all the private messages, when I felt no one gave a toss

Your kindness inspired me, you helped my poetry grow, so I want to publicly say thank you, to let other poets know

You've been so very kind to me, you've gave me pointers that were strong, you've helped me with my grammar, when my punctuation was all wrong

When I was in hospital l, you were a constant on my page, you gave me the guts to write freely and release my stanzas from their cage

So I thank all the poets, for all the kind words and stuff you do, but I just had to tell the world, I'm forever in TEAM BLUE
