Stunning current indeed (thinking of cold sea against warm flesh). Tidal scene so reminds me of one poem by Pandora Unleashed which inspired one of my own poems As The Sea Does The Shore (this section, 2 yrs ago).

That feeling of the cold sea's embrace is truly exciting and invigorating against warm flesh radiating with that beautiful struggle to so eagerly maintain the heat; still I maintain an infinite source. ;) Oh what a steamy combination this can make. 'As The Sea Does The Shore' what a sexy title, I will definitely be looking that one up soon. 🌊🌇💖

What I enjoy about this:

the narrative structure--temptation, fall.
the plot:  the speaker surrenders to temptation to a person consumed by madness, succumbs to his--implied--destructive momentum.
those are what makes this moving to this reader.
favorite line:  temptations lit up like stars in your eyes;
2nd fav line:  intoxicating high boiled in agitated blood.

Ooooffffaaaaa! I’d have written sooner but I had to step out for a cigarette and then step into a cold shower. You certainly can bring the ruckus. Passion is such a gift. Passionate, sensual and exquisitely delightful. The image reminds of a scene from a 90s film adaptation of the Odyssey, when Penelope is at the beach at sundown, the waves crashing between her legs as she calls Odysseus' name over and over again (I ended up writing about it and doing one of my few spoken word [shameless plug] because I found that scene so amazing).

The imagery, the emotion runs deep like the ocean in this spill.
