Purveyors of Zen
Sometimes we pick up right where we left off
Catching up over drinks and smiles
Oh the memories we shared will last forever
Sitting there, remembering the times
Each and every one of them have a special place
Friends are like pieces of my heart
I will cry with them, I still laugh with them
No matter the distance or how far apart
We may not be there like we thought we’d be
Life just took us down different ways
But it’s the manner in which our souls connect
Cherishing and treasuring old glory days
Life has taught me a lesson, over and over again
We build up walls and let some in
It’s those who help open doors and windows
To let in the light like purveyors of Zen
