You capture so well that butterflies-in-your-stomach feeling of meeting someone with whom you have an uncommonly strong connection. There are times that I wished I had been more proactive with such feelings. "Soar" is such an exhilarating word.

Hey, we remember that ride, we've never been on it. But we could just imagine that feeling of freedom if just for the briefest of moment. Hahaha, kinda like a kid begging to swing higher and higher trying to touch the sky. Totally cool piece, tight as heck. Dang you guys can really pack a punch within three lines

Yeah that ride is AWESOME!! I love riding it  
 
To me, It's not easy writing  5 - 7 - 5 in proper syllable structure and apply that structure into a coherence that's utterly poetic. I always found it intriguing and have the utmost respect for those who actually write them well and with such terrific beauty, emotion or poignancy. It's something that I covet and admire so very very much. That's why I wholeheartedly appreciate your kind words, Me. I cherish them because of that appreciation.  
I take great pains to write my senryú or haiku. I have such respect for their meaningful structure and the history from which they came. An important feature that I try hard to uphold....

Well here’s a slice of uplifting joy and lighthearted hope. Just the ticket for today. I know senyru and haiku have such rigid structure but when it flows as beautifully as this it’s stellar. Another one for the good book!

Senryú and haiku are some of my favorite poem types because they challenge me so. That's why I'm so very grateful of your thoughtful remarks and the generous list add.. 🙏. I have been on a senryú kick recently because my buddy AspergerPoet56 loves them (he's quite a master at them... just wow!) and I get inspired by reading his,  and I hope to one day be as elegantly clever as he can be... That 5-7-5 syllable structure isn't easy. I know that I wrote a senryú once and publicly published it, only to find out my syllable count was off and I didn't realize until a few days later... I was so embarrassed.... derp. 🙃 Hence, the challenge.
Now, I triple check.. hahaha 😂 just to make sure... lol... Ty for taking the time to leave your thoughts, my friend 🙏
