Happy March Forth

 
If you haven’t heard today is band nerd’s day
We celebrate with drill, music and dance
And though the world has been at a stand still
This summer, I know we’re taking a chance

I can’t wait to be in the stands with other fans
Cheering and shouting under the hot sun
So bring out those seat pads and cushions
Be comfy or else risk burning those buns

Oh, this ain’t your daddy’s marching band
The music is loud and the crowd is wild
Because for us hardcore drum corps fans
Each show is going to leave us with a smile

Me, well I plan to be in the blast zone
Getting my face torn off by the brass
Screaming at the top my lungs “Jesus Christ”
When the drumline kicks some ass

Yes, I’m a band nerd if you haven’t heard
There are herds of us every March Fourth
Excited for Spring training camps coming up
And for Summer and Fall, they’ll march forth
