So sorry and saddened to read your words in expressing hurt and pain. Like the rain sooner to later it falls on all of us. When you say, "As I'm kept see though" I wonder what it means, like being kept in the dark or wanting some sort of transparency, maybe? I get what you're trying to convey in the first two lines, however. Okaay... I'm reading it as in like you don't exist, having read it again. I think if people have a certain grievance, they should take it up with us personally, maybe? 😑

it's just a snapshot of a moment in time... it's not my constant state of being. That last line is in reference to me feeling invisible...
I thank you for reading and your thoughtfulness.
It's always subjective, though. I don't think poetry is set in stone, it's fluid and it's meaning can and should vary from perspective to perspective... just my humble opinion.

I'm sorry I didn't see your comment here, and my apologies for the late reply. I so appreciate of your heartfelt words, 🙏 It's difficult at times to remind myself that my own inner goodness is enough and not to pay mind to anything else. I feel things deeply and I truly do try to treat others as I would like to be treated. It's a shame that's not always reciprocal. I just need to remind myself that I can only control me and my own actions. Karma has a way of revealing truths and handling justification ... I believe. Ty so much for sharing your mind's eye with me . I love your presence, your visits and I derive such pleasure in seeing you. I hope you're hanging in there as well and that your world outside of DU isn't all consuming or filled with hardships.... ;)
