Acquainted
I've been acquainted with pain
Been acquainted with sorrow
There've been forecasts of rain
Yesterday, today & tomorrow
Don't wallow in lakes of misery
The Sun will eventually shine
The journey's rough psychologically
Don't let it cause you to lose your mind
Find something to grab onto to stay stable
We've all got vices to help us push through
Instead of going to reside with brother Abel
Even on the days when you're feeling blue

Thanks Wally. That's what I try to do with most of my poems that start out sad/depressing. There are lessons in everything that we go through.
