A Salvation by Gravity (NoPoo 55)
I sink like a pebble
Upon the ocean floor
Struggling
Always struggling
To swim in unknown waters
What did you see?
That attracted
Curiosity
Was it my seeming
Unflattering desperation
Whatever
Brought the smile
It gave me buoyancy
To float on the surface
Feel the sun again
Now these currents
Carry me on a journey
Where the only gravity
Exerted on me
Is yours
Upon the ocean floor
Struggling
Always struggling
To swim in unknown waters
What did you see?
That attracted
Curiosity
Was it my seeming
Unflattering desperation
Whatever
Brought the smile
It gave me buoyancy
To float on the surface
Feel the sun again
Now these currents
Carry me on a journey
Where the only gravity
Exerted on me
Is yours
