Boo
I wish you could see me now
Rings on every one of my fingers
Skin tight pants and crop top
Necklaces and painted lips
I wish you saw my strength
Not the person I was at the end of us
I wish I haunted you because
The thoughts of you are fading
Fading like ice to smoke
And I wish deep down you
Were as haunted as I am sometimes
Because the image of you at your best
Is the memory that's stuck in my head
But thank the gods I'm getting happier
Building myself up and learning to be better
So let's be the ghosts of our history
Rings on every one of my fingers
Skin tight pants and crop top
Necklaces and painted lips
I wish you saw my strength
Not the person I was at the end of us
I wish I haunted you because
The thoughts of you are fading
Fading like ice to smoke
And I wish deep down you
Were as haunted as I am sometimes
Because the image of you at your best
Is the memory that's stuck in my head
But thank the gods I'm getting happier
Building myself up and learning to be better
So let's be the ghosts of our history
