The left and right are two wings on the same bird. They all bow to the same puppet masters. They don't work for the people, and absolutely nothing will change in America so long as people keep voting for it. At this point, voters don't even talk about issues, they talk about voting for a particular person in hopes of keeping someone else out. American politics has been reduced to "my guy is better and I'm voting to keep your guy out". Voting is casting a ballot for one's particular flavor of racism and/or prejudice and/or bigotry. Voting is saying "I want this particular group (or groups) to do without this (or these) particular rights and/or freedoms". None of that sounds like freedom to me. It's all a con.
That’s what it’s always been. I’m 39. I have no idea how Trump upended that status quo, but it’s a different game these last 3+ yrs.

I have friends who will not vote because they see voting as an act of aggression. It took me some time to understand that stance.

The whole polticial system is corrupted. I am also 39, and I do vote but I want damn honest truth from the candidates not them bad mouthing their rivals. No one will tell the truth. Keep on writing goddess.
