Making The Right Choices
The way you live your life
Is a reflection of the choices you made
You cannot blame circumstances
For your misery and unhappiness
For your failures and disappointments
For your heartaches and pains
You cannot blame anyone
If things do not come up to your expectations
You should not expect too much from life and people
Expectations are the cause of too many miseries and heartaches
You must make a choice if YOU want to be happy
Your happiness should not be dependent on other people
You must work for it yourself by finding your source of joy within and outside yourself
Let go of toxicities in your life
And cultivate positivity in your way of looking at life and things
Learn to live in harmony with everything
Learn from your mistakes
Learn to fight and stand your ground
Your life is your responsibility
It is up to you to make the right choices that could bring happiness into your life

Bravo, Summer! Happiness is indeed a choice. I know some of the poorest people who are much happier than the richest I know.
Contrast ( or, difficult people ), which triggers us merely allows us to see the work that needs to be done. Yay! We have time to do it! That lesson has seriously been sinking in the last two months for me. Someone just insulted me today, and last year I would've gone off in defensive mode. However, today, nope, it's not about me; it's about them. What we do on the outside, how we act, what we say, how we respond, is merely a reflection of the inside.

Yeah man great advices and hardhitting suggestions for life and happiness. No one is to blame eh, we can try to be happy despite all odds . And totally agree that we shouldn't expect much from others, expectations cause a lot of misery. Kudos!

Nicely done summer. I think this speaks volumes. Too many times people are stuck blaming others for their troubles but don't take the time to think about what they have done in their past that is now a consequence of their choices.
Folks should incorporate this train of thought into their personal statement and outlook and they'll see the changes in their lives.
