.... Aubrieta growing in the shadows.
Oh my gawsh Andrew this hits home today.
I ache because of it. It is bitter the harsh memories, hateful visions....that spring mixed with...and causes the questions why. Makes it so hard to let go. And years of flowering, but the deceit...
This image was stunning. The placement of text, everything beautiful
So good doll.

Dark and smoothly Written NM!!!
I love the tin-type image, how well it looks paired with this Poem.
The frustration that lays in this weighs heavy, the layout of the lines really pushes it forefront in express!!!
Masterful Ink NM!!!

stunning work overall.. always love your poetic delivery... here so scattered in breathing space of emphasis ... & the starkly in & out ziggzagging thickly chaos of a noisy bitterness of the theme .. the viz in mindblowing as to your other works! bring on suchmore epic :)

Agreed with our colleagues assessments. Emotion is subtlety nuanced, feels like a the deep roots of memory, long shadow of reflection.

Your poem presentations are ever beautiful. Love most here the lines "jaw his deceit" and the following "spit out his phlooey ..." which are a perfect pair of images. I had to spend a little time with this one and I'm left with a wistful sad feeling of missing out.

Sublime fusion of words and image. I can really see your visuals strung together in book form. Regional art councils are receptive and generous to such undertakings. Though Covid has put all on hold. Rob

Thanks so much Rob. A lot of the images that i take and digitally manipulate are from some of the best amateur photographers that i know and that i have a loose connection with on Twitter. i have been able to get permission to use their images on the understanding that I wont make any money from this. a lot of images are my own though with my crappy digital but there is a potential project there, once i get finally my hands on that Leica.
