melody
ocher umbra haloed in lavenders
I shade in the fullness of the day
my pneuma breathes the air of unrest
but I will find sanctuary in the garden
the wildflowers wave at me slowly in the wind
capturing my attention
time stands still and I am one with the Earth below me
she speaks of renewal and harvest
I am a handmaiden in my father's kingdom
planted in truth
harvested in hope
the latter rains are upon me
my nature is known
quite wild as the wind herself
but he is lightning and thunder
does not the wind accompaniment?
I enter into an understanding
I don't take it lightly will I be faithful forevermore?
time begins anew
I will that I be the sun shining in the garden
the poppies of the field smile at me
whispering enter into the inner sanctum of the grounds and find succor
