Empathy For Toxic People

Toxic people can’t offer me comfort.
Their toxic energy only allows them to care for themselves.
They are only out for themselves and the true motives of their actions always come to light.
Emotional pain is an enabler for them to cause you more harm.

It’s hard to set boundaries because your empathy comes in the form of a friend, family member, or significant other that you know is not right for you in a healthy way.
Yet, it’s hard for you to comprehend and accept what you see in these toxic individuals

The control and manipulation goes over your head
Their words keep you on edge
Red flags are everywhere that anything out of their mouth does not come with sympathy.

No, toxic people have no time for empathy
You will always blame yourself for what they do
And will even be coerced into apologizing and not knowing why.

The only thing left to do is set your boundaries and have empathy for them.
Allow them to be absent so they don’t drain you of your energy.

Set your standards high and fly above anything that’s not good for you
