Heaven on Earth

Felt an angel kiss my shoulder    
telling me, “It's not over”      
God gave me Heaven right here!      
     
Though I’ve walked through the valley      
Today my heart sings and my soul dances      
because my journey was a beautiful struggle to get where...      
     
I found peace!!!      
     
I’m the lotus flower      
that grew from the murky water.      
     
The faith that parted the sea      
The woman who bled for 12 years till Jesus turned to heal me      
I was the last grain of sand hanging on the the top edge of the hour glass      
The weight in his determined footsteps      
as he carried my ass      
     
How could I give up      
when the wind of the storm      
was giving me breath      
When the rain was there to wash my tears      
When the mud stopped me from running away      
     
As many Revelations as I’ve had      
this is Genesis      
and I can rest on any 7th day      
knowing God’s got me covered.
