perhaps would have properly proclaimed you

�four decades and seven� �Your naked splendor,
many would have been quite surprised
�
�sunny days, everybody loves them
tell me baby, can you stand the rain....�

and amazingly, you can and you have :)

I saw the truth at age 13
a young pubescent man with dreams
with the world ahead of him
and "The Wonder Years" soon to be behind.....

As time goes by, a spell was cast �
an enchantment �as I look in your eyes�, �
my momentary lapse �
a temporary loss �
�time out of mind�

that set the stage and �I want you now�

to remedy my mistake, lest we try
