She is surely something special, buddha. I'm so happy that you enjoyed it.
I was thinking about the dual implications of this poem too. Without my themes, it could be taken as a poem of heartbreak, eh? I also considered naming it 'Making Her Mark' but I'm in too deep now, lol.

For a Western Senryu ( although some do refer to it as the human haiku ) this flows beautifully, NB. Most read forced in regards to the syllabic count of 5.7.5 ( whereas Traditional Japanese is by sound ). I love the kireji in this.

Thanks for the poetic knowledge, Ahavati. I would have called this senryu myself, but it seems there is not a clear boundary between the two, especially in modern haiku. I truly appreciate your 'expertise' on the matter, and am humbled that you loved the poem so much! I don't always know all the technical terms, but I'm learning... kireji is a new one for me!
Thanks again, and best wishes,

Dear NB,
I find I am always taken aback when one can impact another with such grace in so few words! I’m usually saying something with twenty words when ten would suffice. See? I’ve done it again because what I’m really trying to say is this work is very sweet and beautifully written. And lucky is the subject to have someone care enough to honor them in poetry. Charming write!

Re. Indelible She
an ode to love's eternity ...to she the lively object subject of love...in such brevity..lovely NB..
jus me, was reading the haiku & what i had automatically as i read is "ink" in place of "mark"...that would lend a live(ly) continuum , a presentness to this eternity & also inclining rhyme with 'in' of 'indelible' ,, & surprised to see the same word in inverted "" as above sunsettown poet's comment..though in a diff reference. collective consciousness of us is a truth . whether we see feel it or not.
thanks for the share & shine on :)

Thank you for your clever suggestion, uma. I've already become personally attached to the poem, otherwise I would probably change it. I do believe in collective consciousness as well... if you look for the signs they are there. You just have to pay attention! Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful New Year :)

Such gesturing simplicity can even melt away the clamminess upon one's heart...
I know because my heart is clammy
and this certainly cleared away a
little bit of it.
a beautiful gift in a small gift...
*shes blessed
