Your smile was genuine as you walked towards me.
You hugged me and it was real.
You wrapped me in your arms
and for a moment, I felt safe there.
"It was so good to see you, LostGirl."
You whispered in my ear as I kissed you goodbye.
We met once more
and for a fading glimpse
there was far less distance between us.
