How to Wake a Goddess
I feel
the way a dance
feels
lifted into
the drum charged air
I breathed power
the kind
that turned
your lovely
head
What was it about me
Oh, lover?
Tender was your approach
on the mirage of ice
you feared would snap
beneath those wary feet
I am afloat
elated by your belief
in me
"Beautiful"
Your worship
breathes life
back into my chest
and you test
my waters
with the kisses you place
on my neck
Hold me now,
companion
and I choose you~
consort, king
a crown of any material
you wish to bear
and through hushed words
spoken under a
newborn sun..
You've awoken
the goddess
in me
the way a dance
feels
lifted into
the drum charged air
I breathed power
the kind
that turned
your lovely
head
What was it about me
Oh, lover?
Tender was your approach
on the mirage of ice

and through hushed words

You've awoken
the goddess
in me
