I prepare for an inspection
My lair is now pristine
The bodies are well hidden
And not likely to be seen
I do this for assistance
My voucher for the rent
Which is fairly high
But at least this makes a dent
My writing now erratic
Not as prolific as before
But my heart is with you
And I will be back for more.

Author's Note
The Section 8 renewal process is lengthy and complex. It involves a white glove inspection of my apartment, and much paperwork. Hence my near absence. I will do my best to get back to writing with a bit more regularity, for what it's worth.
All writing remains the property of the author. Don't use it for any purpose without their permission.

My dear friend. It seems only last month you were going through all this regarding Section 8, but you & Ninja commiserate, and do a yoga exercise, to chant like Buddha will make you both wise.

The Section 8 travails are lengthy, dread combined with the actual process. Now I'm actually in the midst of this. Cringe!
