Passing on a Kindness

Like a timid little bird,
So afraid of being awkward,
I asked you a simple question,
In the Direct Message section.

Later, I came up with a solution,
Changed my mind, and recanted my question,
To which you were fine with, and responded fairly quickly to,
Even with your busy life, such virtue.

Later, I asked another question,
That in your next interaction,
To pass on, as you're his friend,
A kindness I wished that you would, from me, extend.

You responded not long after,
So far, I've been your defender,
I assumed you busy, and gave you the benefit of the doubt,
I tried to hold back my doubt.

You may have answered,
But you never told me exactly, if you passed on my words,
So, when the time again came,
I asked you the same.

The same simple question,
But I must make a confession...
I have begun to doubt your eagerness to help, and your genuineness,
I must confess,

Because it's been months, and I still haven't heard,
Nary a word,
I hope I'm not being selfish,
With hearing from you, his response, being my wish.
