Luminescent Obscufation (another Tallen & Sky_dancer collab)
**shivering**
despite the pastel gray horizon
and the puddles filling up
Damn puggles and poodles
with not a feline in sight
we slosh our way to another
unknown………….
It's certain that kittens,
unsmitten by drizzle,
Avoid what the poodles
and puggles splash in.
& even if skies are all graysie
and hazey,
It's likely the sun will come out
for a playsie!
Neither egg nor larvae
hatching schemas lay along
the way side of our muddied
path as we might be watching
dogs verses cats!
Let us rebound in abounding
laughing and crying from
laughing
As plips plop and plops plip,
as sure as drips drop and drops drip,
in welly boots we splash, splosh, splish,
pick stars from skies and make a wish
Face first falling into the nebula of
fucking wishes made from ----
pennies tossed
Wishing wells and comets streaking
let us drink ‘til drunk the wish of wishes
wished for with clear WANT
Sobriety, when wishin' I say,
it's much more fun that way.
with clear head and lucid vision,
our games exact with precision.
And even in this squishy squishin'
it's wisdom's dish that we be dishin'
We will toast to the gamers
wishing them luck and stamina.
Play well; Play fair; Play playfully.
At our banquet table spread
upon completion of the games
we will dine on knowledge
& wisdom ending with our
just desserts
of philosophical ruminations!!

What I enjoyed about this was not only the content, but the fact that the two types of font could be read individually as two separate poems - then as one. Great job you two!
