My poem

The journey of life
The journey of life can be challenging and tough,
The good times,
The bad times,
The smooth and the rough.
Our perspective of life can be somewhat slanted,
Blind to the obvious...
Taking loved ones for granted.
You get out of life what you put in,
There's no entry fee and no prize to win.
Embrace new chapters as you pass through your age
Proceed with caution ... You don't know what is written on the following page
There will be wonderful moments in everyone's lives,
Becoming parents , grandparents , Husbands and wives.
On this journey everybody has a ticket for their own destination.
However.. In the end we all terminate at the same train station.
All we can do is try our best.
As we all take part in this ongoing test.
Some days will be filled with joy and happiness
Others with pain and sorrow.
We need to cherish what we have today..
As it may not be there tomorrow !!

... true .... reminds me of an old Italian (I think) saying that 'when the game's over, all players, from King to Pawn, go back in the box as one'. And welcome to DUP, Josh.
