What I Wish Most of All
What I wish most of all,
Is to curl up into a ball,
In your lap,
And for you to wrap
Your arms around me,
And hold me,
As I cry,
An endless supply,
Of tears,
Of releasing my fears,
Of releasing my grief,
And my relief,
And my joy at having again found you,
And being able to be with you.
My face buried into your shirt,
My tears soaking and staining your shirt.
You would smile a sweet, sad, sympathetic smile at me,
That through crying and a buried face, I would not see,
Then kiss the top of my head,
And rest the side of your head,
Upon my head,
I would cry until I fell sleep from exhaustion,
And you too would fall asleep, my lovely companion.
They would find us asleep,
In the sweetest, cutest, way, and make not a peep.
Is to curl up into a ball,
In your lap,
And for you to wrap
Your arms around me,
And hold me,
As I cry,
An endless supply,
Of tears,
Of releasing my fears,
Of releasing my grief,
And my relief,
And my joy at having again found you,
And being able to be with you.
My face buried into your shirt,
My tears soaking and staining your shirt.
You would smile a sweet, sad, sympathetic smile at me,
That through crying and a buried face, I would not see,
Then kiss the top of my head,
And rest the side of your head,
Upon my head,
I would cry until I fell sleep from exhaustion,
And you too would fall asleep, my lovely companion.
They would find us asleep,
In the sweetest, cutest, way, and make not a peep.
