Stars In My Hair🌟
Pray tell, are these stars in my hair?
Forsaking time, I rise and go
On shoreline’s cusp, and in the air,
A waft of sunrise’ scented glow.
I ask a gull that banks and cries,
‘Pray tell, are these stars in my hair,
How are they from beyond the skies
With only clouds residing there?’
I, all the day, while seeking where
To pick seashells, will resurrect;
Pray tell, are these stars in my hair?
No answers come back to collect.
The end of day when breezes die,
And soon, a fading sunset’s flare.
The tide withdraws as breakers sigh
‘Pray tell, are these stars in my hair?’
