One Night🌛

One night while I slept in my bed,
A shooting star passed thru’ my head!
It changed all the ways
I spent all my days,
And wasn’t mistaken for dead!

One night as I slept ‘neath a tree,
I dreamt that I went down to be
Where my lover had gone,
Where did we go wrong?
His footprints all led to the sea!

One night while I slept as it rained,
I dreamt I poured grease in a drain
From the bacon I fried,
Sunny side eggs I tried,
Still hungry, bent over in pain!

One night as I slept in his arms
As he stealthy fondled my charms.
I knee jerked a kick,
Broadsiding his dick,
Thus setting off all the alarms!

One night is too many I fear,
I’m meeting a therapist, dear.
Give me drugs with a poke,
Fill my veins full of dope,
Put me out like a light I’m not here!
