In reflection of what doesn't feel like a year, now come & gone__
Never did I fathom the countenance of the Underground
Or gypsy wild, my soul ever dancing to some replenishing song
To circumvent from Wonderland & be lulled by it's eternal sound
All here can feel it radiate__that blanketing asylum of which I speak
Our fortitude; home to many a heart laced with pain to find halcyon
On these pages; bitter & sweet pulses our inks cadence thru the Deep
The lost brought forth, never left alone to evade from pits of obsidian
From the crux of an improper poet, thanks for the Pandy language love
Try as I might; eccentric is likely to stay the hearth from which poetry imbues
Be you heavenly or celestial -- for many, I love & thank my God above
All because__across Gaiia's sea & turf, are you; my family, strewn

I came here with a write about excitement running down my thighs, actually thinking the site was dead & almost didn't return. I devoted very little time here & it wasn't til Wonderland kicked me on my ass, that I did to find a home only a poet here could understand. A little rag doll ended up writing about some pain because you made me brave. You guys accepted this mess who'll probably always write with a
"wtf" & ever changing format to enjoy it..showing me such the love! I wish to write in form, doing sonnets & quaterns, etc, but meter is my bitch. The rebel in me now embraces the eccentric Pandy shit. Truly. I'm still trying, but at peace with a creation of my own making. Plus, I'm here for the family & their healing ink. Love you guys!!

That's my thinking on the content vs form. Form was a wish but I'm still content. Thank you for the boost as it's your usual. I'm giggling now recalling that collab mentioning in the old days..we've both came so far buddy! As for my dripping thighs I must refer you to story #1.;)

This has gotta be one of the best dysfunctional family settings I've yet found. Though 8 sometimes retreat to my room, I totally feel the sentiment in this one. Keep true to your voice. Nobody else has it. Much respect

Possibly the best poem I've read about a poet's life in DUP. "I love & thank my God above." One of many fine touches, personally my favorite. The "Improper Poet" of the title is blessed, no doubt. Just two days over a year, and you're amongst the best here.

I know we're all so unique, but pushing that meter & writing those sonnets, esp old school ones like Byron, were so damn important. I'm still trying but definitely ok with being improper. Sometimes the other is over rated.I'm totally a rebel all together so Pandy language isn't going anywhere! Thank you for for making room on that RL!!
