Rainbow Wars
Back to the lyrical hunt
trying to find reasons to blunt
my tongue but it keeps rolling on, Robbing peter to pay Paul just to beg and borrow,
stacking up some pennies for an easier tomorrow,
you can be my witness,
I’m not the first one to say this,
But still no one seems to listen,
They don’t wanna hear it,
rather cover their ears and just bear it,
life doesn’t come served on a silver platter,
and let’s be real every one of our fucking lives matter,
black white brown yellow and pink settle down,
we don’t need to fight each other for the crown,
it’ll never be ours,
for as long as they hold the power over us,
the battle goes on,
but it’s been on for far too long.
