There's some truth to this.
Unlike lions, tigers are solitary. The only time they hunt together is during mating season.

Thank you, Kimmy, for coming by ... and that’s right.
Remember my Tiger competition? That’s where you showed your knowledge of tigers. I loved hosting that event; I enjoyed enlightening members about such a magnificent animal - my spirit guide.

Nice to see your avatar back to normal after what looked like a skirmish with an alter-ego yesterday.
My power-animal is a sloth (true, not joking) but I've grown to love him over the years. Sloths are a-m-a-z-i-n-g creatures with many redeeming features (I'll stop here before I get carried away).
As for tigers, well ... what can I say? ... the poem says it all :))

LOL ah ha, you think so? Well I not only thank you for that, but also for welcoming me back as myself again. You’re right about yesterday; talk about not being comfortable in a different skin!
And, as for your power animal, that’s actually interesting about the sloth. I know very little about the creature. If you ever feel like it, I invite you to tell me more about the awesome side of sloths via a pm.
And special thanks, my friend, for coming in and giving your thoughts.

Thank you Jade, I've looked to see if I can find a poem by Simon Armitage on the internet entitled "Sloth"; the best 'sloth-poem' ever written. I have it in his 'Selected Works' - but haven't seen a full version of it on the internet; if you find one, please let me know.

Here’s what I found, Josh, I hope it’s Simon Armitage’s full version:

( of course you’ll need to copy then past the link into the URL )

Thank you so much for the link; it is the full version too.
I love the mix between sloth-energy and writer's block - and the reference to the tortoise at the end, (a reference I guess to The Hare & The Tortoise fable)

I’m so glad I located the right one. I enjoy the poem now, too. I never knew of it till you brought it up.
Oh! And here’s something I did just now just for you, my friend. I hope the link works. It’s to a poetry forum I created earlier this year here on DU, and the latest posting is from me to you.

Thank you Jade for the mention in dispatches and the poem in your forum - which I have started reading from the beginning - too easy a distraction from my work preparing for a writers event opening this Saturday - got to translate my few words in to Portuguese now.
The forum has one wonderful poem after another and I look forward to reading more to catch up on where it's at - nice to find a posting of Eugénio de Andrade, of whom I had never heard. Thank you again, Josh.
