Image for the poem Hyenas

Hyenas

Hyenas heard outside the door
The crackheads looking for a score
For just seven grams, if you please
And they sink slowly to their knees

The problem is they got it wrong
The witch next door will play along
I send the lost and strung out there
And try my damndest not to care

Still hear them chatter through the walls
Their madness rises, then it falls
Security is pretty lax
And I can't seem to find my axe.
