Lol...we're all in the same boat...I'm getting iced down right now after having my physical therapy for my knee.

What a coincidence! I hope you feel better. I just had to abort attending a meeting at a local theater because there were too many stairs and the elevator is out-of-service.

I had surgery a month ago so making big strides.

Awesome...I surmise that surgery is in my future.

I'm getting up there in years, so I feel this deeply.  My soul, and mind, do yearn, but my body won't listen.  Oh well...  Love these three sterling lines!

Very accurate description of aging. The soul is forever young and wants to continue with adventures, but the body has had enough.
