Patiently she waits
Her web embued with pheromones
Her ganglia sensing
most subtle, tactile vibrations
He approaches carefully
Hours he spends
playing sweet harp tunes
on her silken strings
transmitting messages
of desire to mate
He carries his seminal fluid sack
tight to his cephalothorax
She shows eagerness  
by letting him draw closer
positioning her copulatory apperatus
to facilitate the encounter
He approaches swiftly
Exoskelletons entwine
With utmost sophistication  
he utilizes his pedipalps  
to deposit his seed
in her seminal receptacle
Upon completion she holds on
for a moment
In deadly embrace
she sinks her celicera in his
exhausted body
devouring his hemolymph
leaving but an empty shell
yet her abdomen bloated
 
And patiently she waits...
