The Song of Romance
Romance!
That artful dance
Of body and soul
Much more the whole
Of wandering walks
And lengthy talks
Of exchanged glances
And of taken chances
A single moment too
Something all so true
A simple thing
A constant fling
Walks in the rain
Embraces amidst pain
And a lost heart
Yet never apart
Both dusk and dawn
Long languid yawn
Simple and elegant all
Before romance will fall.
Thus spake the Viddaxion.

The initial bloom of love, eros' gift, is always so poignant, so beautiful, so together...the dance will end to familiarity...and to the mundane. Sad.

Yet amidst the dangers of this dance in the throes of the throng and song all shall fall before the fanned flame and tidal tirade of unblooming unfolding great-folding love.

Love when bloomed and open, unrestrained, un-reined, may destroy a mortal soul; unsure in its bid to embrace this flaming love, the tidal wants; after the dance. Sad, the phoenix emerge from the flame, to burst in another fiery end.

Immortal souls know not of love or of light or shade or warmth or cold. Forever distanced from a world where each up and down is a cursed blessing.

True. Therefore imbibe in the wine of wants, pressed from the grapes of love. Flavoured with a jest for life. For we live but a short time and at times the highway of life is peppered with strife.
