The Song of Romance
Romance!
That artful dance
Of body and soul
Much more the whole
Of wandering walks
And lengthy talks
Of exchanged glances
And of taken chances
A single moment too
Something all so true
A simple thing
A constant fling
Walks in the rain
Embraces amidst pain
And a lost heart
Yet never apart
Both dusk and dawn
Long languid yawn
Simple and elegant all
Before romance will fall.
Thus spake the Viddaxion.
That artful dance
Of body and soul
Much more the whole
Of wandering walks
And lengthy talks
Of exchanged glances
And of taken chances
A single moment too
Something all so true
A simple thing
A constant fling
Walks in the rain
Embraces amidst pain
And a lost heart
Yet never apart
Both dusk and dawn
Long languid yawn
Simple and elegant all
Before romance will fall.
Thus spake the Viddaxion.
