The wise also climb the mountain
Do not climb the mountain
To simply always look upwards
To desire the stars and worlds beyond
While hating looking downwards
For hatred and contempt of the below
Climb the mountain and look along its ridges
Look downwards and bring up the lower valleys
Build between gods and ground wonderful bridges
For then when you look, look and lo!

Lord Viddax, very good advice. Don't go up just so you can sneer at something beneath you, go up and appreciate the beauty of those before you. Very precise poem, you cut to the quick.

And hopefully the lesson and advice will spread. Though it is also about making that what you sneer at pleasing to you while you yourself accomodate it.
