Isn't quite funny
the feelings
we hide
deep within
our
Sophisticated
mind
telling us
this is how life
is
complying to the lies
we hear
everyday
while manufactured fears
try to explain
how to survive
in this crazy place
where if we don't compete
we're last in the race
and that's
a disgrace
so we have to teach
all our children
how to beg for their pride
how to bend their knees
if they want to get by
in a world
that has become
a playground
full of guns
