Does Love go Looking for Love
As I escavate this vast landscape
Mounds of golden sands, winds,
With it, it is easily tossed
I’m a foreigner, thankfully dressed as a native
As the heat of this journey tempts me with mirages of oasis(es)
Civilizations, as I know it, never seen it,
Except through the heart of my understanding
Forever enlightened
THROUGH Daily prayer, YOU SEE
I eat from sparrow beaks
Took my hood on this divine journey
A streets disciple
Nasir raised me
Ghetto children, boys and girls
THROUGH THEIR Second and third childhoods
I understood
As a youngster
Life for a shorty shouldn’t so hard
Never mad at cha
I’m just laughing at cha
All my childhood memories
Have brought you to me
I see
Envisioned THESE DAYDREAMS OF
AladdinS and jasmineS
Yall winnin
Streets disciple, same ole G
Tapped into her inherited divinity
The True and Living
All praises to the Most High as I glide
Through shattered pieces of the Earth
Rebirthed, a thousand times over
Now its over
The mockery of wicked men
My Father won’t tarry
Concerning their end
Expediently and bloody
No veteran has ever seen
Marked for death all those that just for jest
Parade with gays
And whores
Lovers of themselves
Vanity and conceit
All to the enemy’s defeat
Warring and sparring,
Call me 300 with mighty men alongside meh
Though the foreigners they embrace me
Relate and learn of me
A masterful plan to overthrow through anarchy
Blood thirsty
But FOR a cause that is worthy
Looking, seeking
None other than Love
Like an addiction
First high that ignites the unrestful conquest of self
I Need it, got to have it
Love
So love I embody
Listening to the calls of those
Searching for myself in a loveless existence,
Why yes, love
Seeks too
Little boy blue
Window peeping AND scheming
His next source of food
Why yes I hear even you too!
To love without end,
The greatest reward to be revealed within
Do I go in search young sir?
Simply put, why yes I do!
Mounds of golden sands, winds,
With it, it is easily tossed
I’m a foreigner, thankfully dressed as a native
