To My Future Children

I hope you know what I'm about to tell you is what you need to hear very carefully.
So listen to my voice as it tells you everything you need to know.
Mommy will always be here for you no matter what happens in the world.
No storm, fire or even an earthquake could keep me away from you.
I'd break every bone in my body just to find you, I wouldn't stop till you were found and get you back home safe and sound.
Know it's not paranoia simply just my fear of losing you to the worlds dangers surrounding you.
I only would try to protect you because I love you.
To my beautiful daughter, I look at you as I worry about everything that could happen to you that I want to prevent while at the same time I could only see you achieve so many wonderful things that the possibilities are endless.
The sparkle in your eye suggests you're a dreamer like your mother and I know I'll probably have my hands full with the countless ideas, plans, and sticky situations you come across, but in the end it'll be all worth it because I know you're your own person who'd want to follow her own path just like I did.
Though I'm not looking forward to many boys who will be coming your way, asking you out on dates then breaking your heart, to the boys who will try anything to get that special gift from you and that I hope you wait till you're at least in love and it's someone very worthy because it's very precious and something you must cherish till it's taken away and once it's taken it can never be taken back.
You must also remember that you are not a trophy nor a possession.
You must be treated with respect and chivalry and if your lover can't honor that then you let me know and mommy will take care of him, you won't have to worry about him anymore if he ever disrespects you.
Your husband must be a gentleman and treat you with both love and same amount of equality in the relationship as you must learn how to treat him with that same amount of respect.
And now to my handsome son, I see you and can tell you'll grow up to be a strong willed man, a man with a lot of his own plans and mind set goals that would benefit him.
I can see the many women falling at your feet as they try to get your attention or do whatever just to be with you, but keep in mind no matter what woman you come across always remember to treat her like a lady.
Never be the type of man that thinks it's ever ok to hurt a woman emotionally, physically or sexually.
Be a gentleman when necessary until she don't deserve it then walk away and don't be bothered by no tramps that wanna trap you with a baby especially when you are a baby yourself.
Both of you should remember know matter what I will never beat you, I will never lie to you about anything, I would never treat you like you're anything less because I'd rather die for you than to hurt you.
You won't experience what I went through so I will shield you instead and give you my endless love because you are my everything.
