misogyny
you crushed the tiny bones
of my self confidence
within your piss on you cunt pride
& smeared what was left of me
on the walls of a bathroom stall
after we fucked like animals
as bruises bloomed on my self esteem
with knowledge it would be the last time
used like a trash receptacle
for your hate
i took every last ounce of it
all the semen spewed rage
you force fed me
i choked on your ego
as you raped my insides
of its emotion
until i wasn't more
then a two dollar whore in your eyes
smoked like a cigarette
& snuffed out
just a worthless habit
you indulge when drunk on whiskey
then cast aside just as easily
when the sober sun came
& put out this lady of night
my pain is your pleasure
you dine on despair
the tears i cried course through your veins
you resurrected my childhood shame
forced me to worship
in your church of arrogance
on my knees before your cock
in your name i no longer pray
you murdered my beauty
& innocence
she lies here in this body,
my tomb

Oh my goodness..
Such brutal, amazingly strong work this is..
and still, your elegant tome beautifully remains...
How do you do it dear Crim?
Left in awe of this..
Love & respects

Beautiful one, nobody who treats another so callously is worth the time. But I know these feelings and you paint them perfectly with your quill. So much love for you, my beautiful Dark Angel

God Crim, this is enough for tearful eyes :( There could be no blame if this simply came out in less graceful terms, but it's still somehow poetic and deftly constructed.
Thank you for this, all poetry is important, but there are some things that the world needs to read; things like this.

Sometimes it's most apparent through pain. Yes, I think that's what separates a poet's heart from others. Thank you as well, my kindred soul <3

In my opinion...You worshipped a piece of shit sadly, I believe it was becuz you thought he cared n you loved him. Obviously he proved himself to be uninterested in treasuring you...

Wow, you nailed the problem of our collective condition Brenda. A powerful comment on abuse. By letting it all out you are the gate for all who otherwise might not get through this. Including me.

i'm deeply flattered to be compared to a poet who i so highly regard...we are both emotional poets and each have our own ways of expression, honored to be hung close to what I consider works of art.

The paradox of the human being/beast...we can care for another...we can love or hate...help or hinder...some can even rape innocence without batting an eyelid...such a powerful piece of poetry Brenda...sent me to my knees.

Re. misogyny
god's tits!
i read this earlier then came back then left to think, then came back...
... dunno how to start commenting, lovely one.
there is a startling dichotomy in this piece that struck such a chord with me;
the harsh, in your face, fuck you language
juxtaposed with such vulnerability in those songbird bones,
it's a hard hitting combination.
love it heaps.
hugs to ya, lady

aw thank you beautiful one
to have moved you means the world to me..
I was deeply attracted to a rough, brutal type
most of my life in contrast with my soft side
that was quite vulnerable in their hands..
emotional rape..
took long time to get back to my feet..
love & hugs..

I must say you make the nastiest, dirtiest, wildest pleasures deemed taboo explode into frenzy, striking the iron hot whilst never searing the silk from which your adorned vessel wields it. Fabulous my dear

my love...I find it hard to even come up with words for this one...the metaphors in this kick the shit out of me...I truly don't know how you do it...so envious in your abilities to capture it all...we see softness treated as if a sturdy structure capable of enduring repeated abusive blows (in many forms), we see softness turn hard and become enraged only to return to the girl we know and love with daisies in her hair, yet with the strength of a million men!
I love you fiercely
yours always & forever
