my world is dark
full of cats and dogs that hiss and bite
rats with red eyes
people with black hearts
in a mist of love
people over see this
most who do advert their eyes
wishing it gone

I want to embrace it
I want to be one with it
But to do that would mean to let my demons out
to play
a horrendous idea
my mind wants a toy
my demons want a ball
they want a heart to tear open
like they've done before
to feast upon

though I wish not too.
they mostly win
for when I am too weak
they take advantage of me
like all of the
cats and dogs hissing and biting
rats with red eyes
And people with black hearts.
